Description
Taiwan Travel Authorization Certificate allows citizens of Indonesia, India, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, or Myanmar to visit Taiwan for up to 14 days. Applicants must hold a valid or recently expired visa or permit from US, Canada, UK, Japan, Australia, New Zealand, South Korea, Schengen countries, and Taiwan tourist/visitor visa. Eligible documents include a temporary residence permit, permanent residence card, entry visa (including e-visa), or residence card/visa. Applications can be submitted up to 6 times per year. If you don't have any eligible previous visa, you may able to apply for Taiwan Single Entry Visitor Visa

Am I eligible for this visa?
- 1. Passport must be valid for at least 6 months from the date of arrival.
- 2. The applicant must have at least one of the following valid visas from the United States / Canada / United Kingdom / Japan / Australia / New Zealand / South Korea / Taiwan / Schеngеn countries / EU
- 3. Hold a valid temporary residence permit/permanent residence card, or a valid entry visa (including e-visa), or a residence card/visa that expired less than 10 years before arrival in Taiwan.
- 4. Applicants using visa from Australia or New Zealand as a requirement to apply for TAC must have the visa still in active condition or not expired.
- 4. Applicants using visa from Japan or South Korea as a requirement to apply for TAC should provide that the visa have been used at least once
- 5. Nationals of Vietnam are not eligible to use a visa, resident certificate or permanent resident certificate issued by Japan/Korea as the required document to apply for TAC
- 6. Holders of previous ROC visas with codes FL / X / P cannot apply for TAC.
- 7. No record of a Taiwan visa rejection in the past six months is allowed.

- 10. Applicant must not have been employed as a factory worker/laborer in Taiwan.

Please provide a copy of a previous visa to meet the requirements for the Taiwan Authorization Certificate. You may submit ONE visa from any of the following countries: the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Japan, Australia, New Zealand, South Korea, any Schengen country, or an EU member state. Note: - Applicants using visa from Australia or New Zealand as a requirement to apply for TAC must have the visa still in active condition or not expired. - Applicants using visa from Japan or South Korea as a requirement to apply for TAC should provide that the visa have been used at least once

The Travel Authorization Certificate (TAC) is valid for 90 days. Entering the Taiwan area multiple times using TAC within 90 days is permitted. However, you can only stay in Taiwan for 14 days per arrival, starting on the day of arrival. If you want to apply for a new TAC, you must do so 7 days before the expiry of the current certificate.
You can only enter Taiwan with Travel Authorization Certificate (TAC) 6 times within 2 year, beginning on January 1 and ending on December 31. Please apply for a visitor visa at Taiwan embassies if you require additional visits to Taiwan. If you visit Taiwan using a Travel Authorization Certificate more than 6 times, you will be prohibited from entering Taiwan.
