This visa grants the legal right to work in Malaysia for 6 months. During this period, you can engage in employment activities in compliance with Malaysian labor laws. Additionally, the visa can be upgraded to a resident visa, allowing you to extend your stay and continue working in Malaysia. - 1. The applicant must have a Visa with Reference Letter (VDR Letter), which serves as an official invitation issued by the Malaysian Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC) or Malaysian Immigration.
- 2. The exact duration of stay will follow the period stated in the calling visa.
- 3. The resident visa can only be extended in Malaysia.
- 4. Passport must be valid for at least six months from the date of departure to Malaysia.
- 5. No rejection for a Malaysian visa in the past six months.
- 6. A passport must contain at least two blank visa pages.
- 7. No history of overstaying in any country.
- 8. A clear criminal record is required.
- 9. Sufficient funds must be demonstrated to support the stay.
- 10. No record of illegal employment on a previous visa.
- 11. No history of deportation from any country.
