The E31B visa, also known as the Spouse Visa, is a type of limited stay permit (KITAS/ITAS) in Indonesia. It is designed for foreign spouses of individuals holding a valid KITAS/ITAS or KITAP/ITAP (permanent stay permit). At least 18 months of validity for 1-year ITAS, or minimum 30 months of validity for 2-year ITAS
Colored photo 3 cm x 4 cm in red background *

Bank statement of 3 months - 2000 USD *
Bank statements of the last 3 months with minimum balance USD 2,000 (including name, date of period, and balance account).
Guarantee letter from Indonesian spouse *
A letter from your Indonesian spouse stating that she/he will be the guarantor for your ITAS

Provide KITAS of your Spouse
Marriage Certificate (Optional) *
Official proof of your marital status. You can obtain it from your local civil registry office.
Marriage Registration (Optional) *
Proof of marriage registration at Authorized Indonesia Agency if marriage conducted outside Indonesia, and it has been translated into Bahasa Indonesia by a sworn translator except written in English.

No, you must obtain a separate Work Permit to be able to work in Indonesia.
The Spouse ITAS is valid for 1 year and must be renewed every year. It is extendable for up to 5 times – each time, you will get a 1 year stay permit. After the fifth extension, the Spouse ITAS holder will have the option to apply for a permanent stay permit (KITAP) or apply for a new Spouse ITAS.
